International Experience Canada Program

With the help of the International Experience Canada Program, citizens of 36 different nations (Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine, and UK) are invited to live and work in Canada.

Why International Experience Canada Program Is So Popular?

It is one of the safest methods to get young people into the workforce. In order to participate, the chosen countries must have signed the “Youth Mobility Agreement” with the Canadian government. This program can offer you jobs for profit or non-profit organizations. Some of the countries allow you to participate for a single period. Some of them will enable you to participate twice under some conditions, depending upon the country you are coming from. Working Holiday, Young Professionals, and International Co-op are the three types of work permits available to foreign nationals, depending on where they are from.

Here Is the Right Process

All qualified applicants must wait for an “Invitation to Apply” before submitting a complete application. Once you complete the questionnaire, you get a code to register for a service. Register with the IEC pools of your choice and fill up your profile. If you receive an “Invitation to Apply” through your account, you will have 10 days to either accept the offer and begin the application process, or decline the invitation.

What Is Next?

After your employer pays the required costs, they will receive an offer of employment number, which they should share with you. Please scan and upload any necessary supporting documents, such as police clearance and medical clearance forms. It is time to pay the registration fee. If accepted, a “letter of introduction” will be emailed to you. IEC work permit holders may apply to the IRCC for an extension of their work permit’s validity.
