Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship

If you are a Canadian citizen and want to sponsor your parents or grandparents to move to your country, you can do it through the Parents and Grandparents sponsorship program undertaken by the Canadian Government.

If your application receives approval, the senior citizens of your family can move to Canada and become permanent residents. They will also qualify to enjoy all the benefits that a Canadian Citizen does, such as the work in the country and to avail of quality healthcare and other services.

If you need any kind of guidance or information in this regard, we, Twenty Two Immigration, are here to guide you and advise you. We are the best immigration consultant in Surrey.

Eligibility to Apply for the PGS Immigration Program

To apply through the Parents and Grandparents sponsorship program, the Canadian Citizen and the senior family member they are looking to sponsor need to meet specific eligibility requirements.

  • The sponsor essentially needs to be a Canadian Citizen.
  • They must show their proof of financial capability for funding their senior family member.
  • Must prove that they are able to support their family and meet the MNI (Minimum Necessary Income) range set by the Canadian Government.

The Sponsor and the Sponsored Person Also Need to Agree on Few Facts

  • Both parties need to sign an agreement stating that the sponsor will financially support the sponsored person and other family members who will accompany them for three to twenty years. This starts from the day the sponsored person becomes a permanent Canadian Resident.
  • The sponsored individual will make every possible effort to financially support themselves.

We, Twenty Two Immigration, are a licensed, reputed, and reliable immigration agency in Surrey, offering the best immigration consultancy services for affordable prices. You can count on us for receiving the best help.
